Judi set to return to Ketchikan

Just spoke with my Mom while the kiddies were in the bathtub and she has purchased her plane tickets to return to Ketchikan! She will see her surgeon for a post-op appointment Monday morning, July 21st, and then fly home that afternoon. She will have to return to Seattle on August 4th for a PET scan and then we'll learn more about her upcoming treatment (ie: chemo, gamma/cyber knife, radiation). Apparently leiomyosarcomas do not respond well to radiation, so the oncologist is talking about cyber knife treatment. I think it also has something to do with the lack of clear 2 cm margins near her aorta, so pray that what the surgeon removed was sufficient!
