Fire Station #1

We took a field trip to a fire station today!
Bella & I model the "Fire Dog" helmets we made for the occasion.
Oscar was excited to tag along, although here he & another "tag along" sibling have a friendly debate over "Mine!" That & "NO" are his favorite words.

They showed us the ladder truck, it went "really high into the sky so they could touch the clouds!" What a great visit, made complete by an aptly timed call so the kids could see the firefighters & trucks quickly pull out of the station.

BTW, mid-October and it's 85 degrees & we have our AC on. Global Warming???
