My best Alaskan friend & I!

The kids helping Angie get the music ready to rock for the parade

Our friends Tyler & Miranda helped Angie too! We passed out dog biscuits wrapped with Angie's blog information to help raise awareness & financial support for her running of the 2011 Iditarod race. She will be the first person from Ketchikan to participate.

I was so proud of Eleanor walking the entire parade (almost 3 miles from where we lined up to the finish!) and she did a great job helping Angie. She took her position very seriously, asking parade-watchers "Do you have a dog?" before handing out biscuits.

Start of the parade! Let's roll little doggies!
Grandma Judi drove the truck & Angie's mom Charlene was her co-pilot.

We had a picnic at Angie's house after the parade. Oscar had fun sliding down her rock pile!

Eleanor and her huge skunk cabbage leaf!
