Spring Recital

Eleanor had her Spring Recital for Irish Dance on June 2, Grandma Gert's Birthday. Wish she could have been there tapping along to the beat, she would have loved it!
Oscar watched intently until sleep overcame him. He had attended Summer Camp earlier in the day and had an outdoor water day. He will fall asleep in church on the pew like this too with Daddy rubbing his back. Isn't he too cute?

Daddy gave Eleanor flowers after the show.

Her ghillie (black lace up shoe) came unlaced during her performance but her instructor came out onstage to take it off completely and she kept on dancing. At curtain call, she had a huge dinner roll sized hole near her knee in a brand new pair of tights. She must have danced her legs off that night!
