Judi is Home

Grandma Judi & Poppa Ronnie made it home safely on the afternoon jet. They arrived in style as her friend MaryAnn picked them up in her car and drove them over on the airport ferry and then they were greeted by several nurses/co-workers/friends! Even the sun came out for them! It had been raining off and on all day! My Dad cannot get over the support & love shown to his bride. He is, naturally, estactic to be back in Alaska and is already making plans to go fishing later this week.

Mom looks great and has more energy than I had anticipated. She had a good post-op visit with her surgeon this morning and was given the go-ahead to return home. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers...keep 'em coming for the PET scan on August 4th so we will have a better understanding of what to expect next.
