Ship Tour

My Daddy is going on a Navy ship! We got to have a tour of it last night, and it was huge! In the first picture, I am pointing to it, the one on the left. When we first got on board there were neat areas that they can flood with water and have smaller boats inside the ship! The lights were a cool green! We had to walk up all these ramps and it was hot...luckily my Daddy carried me! We saw a jet and a helicopter on the landing deck. I could see a long ways from up there! I also got to see the room with no windows that he will be sleeping in. It has a cool red nightlight! I know my Daddy will have fun on this huge ship, wish I could go!

Automobile! Train! Motorcycle! We went to the mall and the play area was closed but I could still ride on all the rides! I had to try them all...cousin Madisen, I thought of you on the train b/c I know how much you love trains!

Dress Up

Baking Bread

I helped my Mommy make Banana Bread the other morning! I like to stir stir stir & mix mix mix! ( I don't know why she's holding a pencil...?) I think wearing my sunglasses made the bread taste extra yummy! (Yes, it was her idea to wear them, indoors!)

Busch Gardens

We went to Busch Gardens for my Birthday! I had so much fun petting the Clydesdale horses, seeing an owl, and watching the Irish Dancers! They had dresses that made them look like princesses! We also got to ride the carosel (4 times!), the skyride, a ladybug, and a dragon! I had fun dragging my Dad around the Land of the Dragons water area too! Mom and Dad took me on the Log Ride but I didn't like the slide too much! I had so much fun I fell asleep in my mom's arms on the tram on the way back to the parking lot. All in all, I can't wait to go back to Busch Gardens!

Dog Park

Another fun thing we did on my Birthday was bring my doggie Jasmine to the Peta Dog Park. She loves to chase after tennis balls and go swimming! I like seeing all the other dogs and getting to pet them too! Today I saw my first dalmation & Irish Setter! The puppies are my favorite though!

Birthday Princess

Here I am at my 2nd Birthday party! We decorated foam tiaras with glitter and jewel stickers and ate lots of yummy cake! What a great day!

Fourth of July

Here I am eating my blue cupcake on the 4th of July! I watched the fireworks and didn't get scared! I actually got bored and saw this really cute puppy that looked like it needed lots of love and attention...from ME! Anyways, the cupcake was really yummy!

Hat?

I LOVE to eat at Panera! Here I am modeling their newest table topper as a hat! My favorite thing to order is chicken noodle soup, no matter how hot it is outside!

Woodstock playground

We had playgroup at Woodstock Park and it was SO much fun! I loved riding the frog and the four-wheeler! Look at me go! Vrrooom!

Vacation Bible School

We went to Vacation Bible School at church recently. It was lots of fun. My Mommy helped Miss Kristen in the preschool class and I got to tag along! I was the youngest one there but I did a great job leaning about Jesus! The theme was Treasure Seekers and we got to listen to Professor Who (the owl puppet) and then go on a dig in our sandpit to find artifacts! (Eleanor is on the left wearing jean shorts and a pink tank top) I especially liked singing "Archeology," "Dig It," & the "Sheep song" we even made sheep masks to wear when we sang in front of the church on Sunday. I liked all the crafts, playtime and am still singing the songs to this day!

Camping at Crabtree Falls

We had a great time camping with my friend Emma and her folks at Crabtree Falls in Virginia. It was a long drive (4 hours one way!) but we had fun hiking to the falls, spelunking in big rocks, scenery from the BlueRidge Mountains, sparklers and even wading in the river! Even my doggie Jasmine got to come!

OBX Beach Photos

We had so much fun at the Outer Banks with Anna, Carol & Anna's Aunt Barbie! I got buried in the sand and made into a mermaid! We even got up REALLY early one morning to go 4x4 on the beach and look for the wild horses! Finally on the way home we got to see them! It was SO neat, Anna got really close and got to pet one! I was just excited to see horses!

Father's Day

For Father's Day we got to go to Corolla, NC with my cousin Anna who was visiting from Alaska! It was lots of fun to go to the beach and play in the sand and surf. I really liked looking for shells and then throwing them back in the water again. My Daddy helped us and we built a giant volcano with a moat around it!

HarborFest 2006

Norfolk's annual HarborFest 2006 took place on my parent's 6th wedding anniversary. I stayed with a babysitter while my Daddy took Mommy out for a nice dinner. Then I got to go with them to HarborFest to see the EAGLE! It was the first time my Mommy got to see it too! Daddy sailed on it while at the Coast Guard Academy so it was really special for him to take us on board. We even got to see fireworks, my first real display since in Mommy's tummy...I was nervous but didn't cry. I did ask my Daddy if we could go hide, and we did!
