Great Grandma Alice

So thankful that we got to meet one another!
In Memory of Grandma Alice
Nine of these Night Blooming Epiphiliums (they only bloom one night a year) bloomed,
one for each member of our family present that night.

Fun @ Nanna & Poppa's House

Swinging in the hammock
Uncle Ben...how come you look so much like my Dad?
Helping to keep an eye on Sophie with Poppa & Nanna
Hey, that tickles! Lovin' Poppa's beard.
Nanna feeding me some rice cereal while Auntie Bekah holds on tight!
Yeehaw! I can jump! I love my new jumperoo!
Thank you Nanna & Poppa!
Trying to squeeze inbetween Auntie Bekah & Greg without being tickled!

Morning Sunshine!

I took this picture of Oscar after Mommy changed his "soggy diaper!"
"Cheese!" Hamming it up for the camera
Whoa! What WAS that bright flash?
I LOVE my baby brother!

Feed Me!

Daddy gave Oscar a graham cracker during dinner tonight! He liked it b/c he ate 4 of them!

Splashin' around

My friend Geneva & I had fun at a potluck our parents attended this weekend for church. We love going to Ms. Debbie's house to dress-up, jump on the trampoline & splash in her pond!

Giddyup!

Oscar's first ride on my horse Misty! She recently returned to us from my friend "Drew's Stables" Oscar went straight for the handles...then slipped backwards! Good thing Dad was there to catch him! He's still a little wobbly, Mom thinks he'll still have fun if we prop him with blankets.
My baby Corey went for a ride too!

Driving Time

Yeah, this driving stuff IS easy! Check out my wild hairdo...thats b/c I drive fast!

Coast Guard EAGLE

Coastie greeted us as we waited in line to tour EAGLE, the CG Academy's training ship. I asked to have my photo taken by the ships' gold Eagle on the bowsprit...Mommy took my photo by it last year when we saw the ship too!
Oscar is such a boy! He was checking out the bridge controls!
I think we should sign him up for shiphandling classes tomorrow!
By the helm with DaddyAll hands on deck!

Maybe someday Oscar or I will sail aboard EAGLE like our Daddy did!

Mermaidia

These are for you Angie! Eleanor now wants to have her picture taken with any and all mermaids that she sees!!!

Snow Angels?

My friends Emma & Abbey came over tonight and we made (of all things!)
SNOW ANGELS! (It was THE hottest day of the summer...wonder what on earth made them think of snow angels? These poor girls have probably seen snow twice in their lifetime of three years!)

Must Have...

Coca-Cola!
Oscar was playing with this empty can at the dinner table.
(Grandma Nanna would approve?)

It's Morning Time!

Oscar & I hanging out in our pj's...I was coloring and he was having tummy time!
He is pushing up on his forearms and actually had his knees under his hips for a few seconds! Watch out, he'll be crawling before we know it!

Rice Cereal

Open Wide! Oscar's First Rice Cereal experience!
I like this picture b/c both Daddy & I are opening our mouths to show him how to do it!
Oscar's body language told us it was just ok, nothing too spectacular.
Next time we'll try it warm and see if that does the trick!

Just hangin' around!

Oscar enjoying baby Natalie's "Johnny Rocket!"
We are borrowing it to see if he likes it and we think its a yes!
(Eleanor called it a Johnny Rocket and I thought it was so funny!)

Mmmm!

We stopped for ice cream & Oscar kept batting at Daddy's so he gave him a taste. It was like he was ravenous for ice cream already, I think Daddy's been brainwashing him in his sleep!
Yummy but messy too!
It's official, Oscar loves ice cream as much as his Daddy!

Fort McHenry

We went to Historic Fort McHenry in Baltimore. This is the exact location that the American flag was flying when Francis Scott Key wrote the "Star Spangled Banner". Note the 15 stars, this is the only place where a 15 starred flag has ever been flown. This photo was taken inside the fort, which is shaped like a star from the outside.
I asked Mom to take my picture.
The Key Bridge is behind me to your left.
Mom & I were wearing matching polka-dots!
I love my new dress!

Baltimore

Oscar & I at the helm of a bouy tender! Daddy's friend Mark was the Captain, we went to his Change of Command Ceremony in Baltimore. Oscar was awake and good during the ceremony, so Mommy was pleased. I was happy b/c we got to eat cake that had a ship picture on it!
Who said blondes can't drive?
I've got the keys and I'm ready to roll!

Mr. P goes to Washington!

We rode the metro to the Mall and took in the sights!
Here we are in front of the Washington Monument. Wish you were here Great Grandpa Fred! It's a wonderful tribute...
The Boys at the WWII Monument.
Our photos didn't turn out too well b/c it was dark,
but don't be fooled, it was still hot late at night!
Lincoln Memorial. This was both Oscar & I's favorite.
He kept moving his fists around waving to President Lincoln!
The White House. Note that I was sleeping, so did I technically see it?
Our family's newest "Party Animal" in his stoller on the Metro...it was midnight!!!
Sleeping in the next morning after a night out in DC!
I love his "cool guy" pose with both his hands behind his head!
