All Smiles

Here I am with my Great Grandma Ella! We stayed at her house while we were in Michigan and I loved playing with the matchbox cars she has from when my Great Uncles were little!

Iron Ore Mine

We got to tour an iron ore mine! My Grandma Judi & Great Grandpa Fred came along to help hold my hand. We got to wear a helmet and a rain coat b/c there were rocks and water dripping from the ceiling of the mine (She said it was "raining!"). We rode a train into the mine and then got to walk into the big rooms where they mined out the distinctive iron ore. My Great Grandpa Fred took my Mommy and Uncle Mark here when they were kids, and my Grandma Judi's Grandpa used to work in this exact same mine!

Salmon dinner

I helped my Grandma Judi prepare our dinner! It was a "white king salmon that Uncle Mark caught!" in Alaska. It was very yummy and I ate until I was full. Thank you Uncle Mark! And, uh, please send more! :)

Choo-Choo!

We rode a train in Wisconsin to a historic logging camp and they had a petting zoo there! I went through the museum too, but I really liked petting the bunnies & kitties and getting to feed the goats. Grandma Judi, Great Uncle Duane and my Great Grandpa Fred were with me. I had an opportunity to pull the steam trains' whistle but got scared, I let my Momma do it instead. It was loud!

Cookin' with Fire!

We grilled brats & hot dogs, and I even got to roast my own marshmallow for S'more's!

Let's go Camping!

My Grandpa Ronnie drove up to Michigan from Alaska and bought this new truck camper so we could sleep in it! I got to help him drive his "big black truck" (in the campground) too!

I had fun spinning this colorful windmill at my Great Auntie Joyce's house.

My first paddleboat ride

At my Great Aunt Joyce's home we enjoyed lots of time by the lake. I got to swim with my 2nd cousin Jack and even go for my first paddleboat ride. I wore this red bodysuit as a lifejacket...check out my muscles!

I'm a Big Girl now!

On August 3rd I had my own airplane seat for the first time! At first I wanted to sit on my Mommy's lap b/c that is where I have always sat before, but I was a big girl and rode on two airplanes in my own seat and even kept my seatbelt on! I got a little nervous when the plane banked right or left, "Airplane, don't tip me over!" I told the pilot to fly us safely to Michigan!

My little sibling! Yup, that's right, I'm going to be a big sister! My parents gave this cake to Nanna & Poppa Brian as a fun way to let them know they are going to be grandparents again. My Auntie Bekah knew what was going on the minute my Dad pulled the cake box out of the bag! The cake is from the same bakery that made their wedding cake, MY announcement cake, and Daddy's law school graduation cake. SO, it was a yummy & special cake!

The Pickrell's go to the Zoo

My whole family went to the Columbus Zoo the last Sunday in July. We had a great time there...I was very brave and pet a snake! We rode the carosel and the train, and I got to take a much needed nap on my Dad! Aunt Muireann's youngest sister Laura was visiting from Ireland and she got to enjoy the animals too! My favorite part is still the manatees, I requested to see them twice! Mom says she likes it b/c of the air conditioning, whatever that is!?!

Here I am (eating an ice cream cone!) with my friends Neko & Simon. Our moms went to high school together in Alaska and hung out when we lived in Ohio. It was great to see them again, we're all getting so big!

Vogue...

C'mon, Strike a pose! I love shoe shopping! I chose the red one first to try on... This picture is from a fun night at the Easton Town Center with my Aunt Muireann & Uncle Ben. We rode a trolley, watched model trains, frolicked in the sprinklers, shopped (!) and ate a yummy Cheesecake Factory dinner.

Not Company!

While we were in Columbus my Mom's college friend Lynn and her daughter Emma drove down from Cleveland. Emma and I had lots of fun playing shells & in the hammock outside.

Play Shells

I love to play with shells and organize them into groups. My Poppa Brian has lots of neat shells from all his travels that he lets me play with.

Here I am coloring with my Auntie Bekah & my Dad's twin, Uncle Ben! Mom, Jasmine & I drove to Ohio while my Dad was out on the Navy "cruise ship."
