Pretty as a Flower

I loved smelling these pretty flowers at the zoo today. Whenever I see flowers I like to stop and smell them. My Mom says that it is good to stop and smell the roses. (It was in the mid-70's today so we are enjoying an abundance of warmth and color!) We wish the rest of the year the temperature would be like this with NO humidity! HA! We live in Virginia now! That would be like Alaska not getting any snow!

Drive to Columbus

When my Mom went on her ski trip to Colorado with her girlfriends, Daddy drove Jasmine and I to Ohio! We got to visit lots of people, including Nanna & Papa Brian, Tweety (their parakeet), Auntie Bekah & Greg (who just flew in from Spring Break in Florida, luckies! Why did I go west to the snow?) and my Uncle Ben & Aunt Muireann. I was really excited when Nanna & Papa got a new puppy. They named her Sophie. I like her a lot. I got to help walk her at Lake Antrim and I like to hold her on my lap. Jasmine growled at her some but Daddy told her to stop. I can't wait to play with Sophie again!

"Cast Off!"

This was a great day! March 10th, the day my cast came off! Not that it slowed me down any, but I was able to swim & bathe again! (Plus she weighed a ton with that thing on!) Here is a picture of me dancing with my pink cast on. It was fun when people signed it. I liked to tell them where they should sign! (Let's hope she's not so bossy in the future...HA!) My Mom says she is thankful that we were able to fly to Ohio the first week I had my cast on b/c it made the time go by faster. It was only on for 3 weeks, 1 week to heal and 2 weeks to strengthen and protect my tibia. Any of you adults would have been in a full leg cast for 6 (yes, six) weeks! I have to go back in 3 months for a x-ray follow up. Those x-rays are old hat now! OH! There is a picture of my dog Jasmine too. We are buddies. I invite her to sleep on my big girl bed but Mommy says there isn't enough room and usually Jasmine is already asleep! She has come up a few times but never seems to stay long. I wonder if she doesn't like my Cinderella sheets?

"Money!"

This is one of my favorite things to do when I first wake up in the morning...play with money! I put coins into my piggy bank (Thank you Nanna & Papa Brian!) while my Mom & Dad try to catch a little more shut-eye! This picture is from when I still had my cast on!

Makin' A Mess!

These are some pictures of me having fun. My Mom says I was making mischeif, but I beg to differ! How can pulling all the socks out of a drawer, or all the plasticwear out not be fun? Just look at the cool design I made on the kitchen floor! I also like to raid the dirty laundry basket! That's sometimes a smellier proposition though...

The Virginia Acquarium

While I had my pink leg cast on my Dad had a great idea...we went to the Virginia Acqaurium in Virginia Beach! I loved getting to see all the fish, seals, otters, dolphins & sharks! I was nervous when I saw the sea turtles b/c they are so big, but I got better before we left. I wasn't afraid of the sharks, my Mom says that isn't an innate fear? I don't know what she means...but I do know that we had lots of fun there and I can't wait for everyone to come visit us this summer so we can all go together and see all the cool things that live in the water!

Irish Dancers

My friend Emma & I got to see Irish Dancers. They were very nice to us. We got to touch their costumes and get our pictures taken with them! And thanks to my Auntie Muireann (who is from Ireland & teaches Irish Dance) and Saint Patrick's Day, I love "Irish Dancers!" (ANYTHING with a little bling on it and this girl says "Irish Dancers!" repeatedly!) My Mom even trys to help me learn to dance by having me practice pointing and flexing my toe and saying "1,2,3 & Off You Go!" like Muireann. I wish I lived closer to my Aunt so she could teach me!

Ellie Snake Charmer

Can you hear me playing my flute & charming a snake right out of it's basket? I love music...I "play" the flute, piano and I love to sing. "Jesus Loves Me", "You are my Sunshine" & "Old MacDonald" are my favs.

Yeah! I am so excited that my parents are finally creating a blog! I hope it will be easier to share all the neato things I get to do, with you, our family and friends that live far far away. (Now there are no excuses on having to download tons of pictures that take forever!?!) Have fun and try to keep up!

love, Eleanor

Fuzzy Bunny at the ZOO

Eleanor loved petting "Oreo" & "Basil" at the zoo today.
