Happy Halloween!

Drumroll please: Eleanor's THIRD costume for Halloween this year! In keeping up with the bug theme, this is the costume I had been pleading for her to wear all week! She was still too shy to say Trick or Treat this year, but rather peered happily into her bucket after candy was dropped in and said a quiet Thank You.

I'm bringing home a Baby Bumble Bee!
Won't my Momma be so proud of me? Eleanor helped place the Tootsie Roll Lollipops in the pumpkin after Daddy drilled the holes. We left this on our porch so we could all go out Trick or Treating together and still "pass out candy!"

Mr. Man!

Today was a big day for my little Big Guy. Oscar pulled himself up to standing (3 x in a row!) all by himself! He was even reaching outside the crib for a bottle of lotion on a nearby nightstand!?! GO Oscar! We're in trouble now!

Trunk or Treat

Buzzing on over to Eleanor's school for Trunk or Treat
Brave Cinderella petting the "pet rat" in order to receive candy from the cauldron. (Note that this is costume #2 for Eleanor so far this year.)
Princess Eleanor pausing for a photo op with her classmate & friend Corey, aka Dorothy.
Oscar flying around the parking lot with Nanna
Playing the drums
Ahh, sweet sleep.

Carving Pumpkins

Helping Daddy dig out seeds. I love them baked!
Designing a pumpkin face with Nanna
Welcoming faces, dogs included! Check out their glowing eyes!

Baptism

Eleanor & Oscar were baptised together! Thank you Pastor Bill, you are a brave man!
Thank you Poppa Brian, Nanna & Grandma Judi for being here! They were also present when Eleanor was dedicated as an infant at our previous church in Ohio.
Wearing his Poppa Ronnie's baptismal gown. Eleanor kept saying it was a dress...
Oscar loved the water and enjoyed being shown around the church afterwards. Eleanor was shy and had Daddy come along with her, too cute!

Afternoon at the Beach

I say "Let them eat sand!"

Halloween Party

We went to our church's Halloween Party, I was Snow White & Oscar was a Bumble Bee.
Grandma Judi flew in from Hawaii just in time!

It was a great family night...we even got to wrap mommy as a mummy with toilet paper! And Daddy impressed me by bobbing for an apple! He was silly with his face all wet!

Evening Walk

Riding around the neighborhood in my stroller. Jasmine & Eleanor: their nightly exercise routine!

Pumpkin Patch

My favorite picture of our little pumpkins!
"Oscar likes to be in the pumpkin patch" says big sister Eleanor
My baby pumpkin (almost 7 months old) in the baby pumpkin patch!
Child Labor...hauling pumpkins in the wagon.
"I love to see the baby pumpkins!"
Straw is interesting...can I eat this?
I like patting the big pumpkins.

Ice Cream Truck

Vanilla or Chocolate?
"I like to drive the ice cream truck!"
Hmmm, maybe I'll be a chef for Johnny Rockets someday?

Mornin'

PS: Those are big boy pj's that Oscar is wearing! His first 2 piece pajamas...he looked so big and grown up in them!

Good Morning!

Hanging out together right after Oscar wakes up is our favorite time of day.

Fall?

We had a picnic lunch outside today...Oscar picked his own greens!
Both kiddos swinging!
Eleanor loves her new big girl swing although I still have to help her get her buns on it! She knows how to pump, but always requests to be pushed higher!

Toot-toot! Oscar trying out the tugboat for the first time. He's still a little wobbly to stay sitting up in it, he did a nose-dive shorty after this photo was taken!

Riding the swings with Daddy!
Oscar checking out Captain Mike's wheelhouse
It was such a hot and humid OCTOBER day that the water in Dragonland at 7:30 pm was delightful! Oscar kept "walking" and squealing!
