Sarah's visit

My friend Sarah (and her Mom Becky who is my Mom & Dad's friend!) came to visit us from Alaska! We went to the zoo and had a great day...

& went home to play with Jasmine in our back yard! I love having company to play with!

I LOVE saying Hello to Oscar first thing in the morning. I am a great big sister!

Fishing Derby

Uncle Mark, Aunt Meredith & cousin Madisen went fishing in the King Salmon Derby this weekend! It's a Lundamo tradition...my Grandpa Ronnie won the derby in 1974, Great Grandpa Fred in 1979, and since then we've entered numerous "smaller" fish. These were 17.7 and 22.9 lbs respectively. My Mom remembers helping her Dad weigh in fish at this same dock as a little girl!
Aunt Meredith is in 3rd place (in the first of 3 weekends) with this 32.9 lb king. My Mom is thinking about taking Oscar and I to Alaska soon so we can eat some of this yummy salmon while it is still fresh!

Memorial Day Weekend

and then some play! Oscar went to his Dad's workplace for the first time this weekend as he was on call and had to run in to type something up. Then Oscar got to sit back and relax and enjoy a cool one! We did some gardening this weekend and enjoyed being in our backyard!

End of Year Program

I was so happy that Daddy could come to my End of the school Year Program today.

Oscar came too, but he didn't see anything but the back of his eyelids!

We had treats after the program. Mommy had a hard time catching any good pictures of me during the actual program. However, I LOVE frosting...and this yellow matched my dress!

Strawberry Picking

At first I just wanted Daddy to pick them for me...then I found out how much fun it was!

YUMMY! It was a great day to pick strawberries as the Strawberry Festival is Memorial Day weekend and it'll be crowded then!

Gardening

Did you know gardening is a family affair? Poppa Brian dug the bed, Mommy helped me plant and Daddy helps me water! I can see my garden from my bedroom window, so I can keep a close eye on my tomato and strawberry plants!

Here is Oscar with Natalie, my friend Cambria's new little sister. She was born 3 weeks after Oscar. I can't tell if they are friends yet b/c she kept trying to punch him in the face!?! Oscar made his old man grumpy face about the whole deal but I know they will work it out in the end...

Mother's Day

We took Mommy out for dinner on Mother's Day...to a Mexican restaraunt, her favorite!

National Zoo

This was my favorite...watching the BABY elephant take his bath! He loved when they squirted water from the hose into his mouth.

I fell asleep after the graduation I was SO tired! I actually fell asleep eating butter with my bread (Sally said that was similar to my Mommy when she was a little girl as she had french fries with her ketchup!)

Darby & I after she graduated from the Catholic University of America! It was the first graduation ceremony I attended. My Mom used to babysit Darby (AND her two older brothers!?!)
Oscar came too. It was his first graduation ceremony also. He mostly slept though.

It was a hot day...high 80's

Darby's Mom Sally brought this kitty for my Mommy. She cried when Sally gave it to her b/c it used to be my Mom's when she was little (her Great-great Aunt Ann made it) and Grandma Judi sold it in a garage sale...Sally bought it and gave it back to us!

Daddy helped me take shade breaks in the trees like the monkeys do!

See how hot it was? Overall my folks said I was VERY good for a 3 hour ceremony. I was just excited to see Darby and for her to throw her CAP (NOT hat!) into the air!
