My funny Valentine's!

Eleanor got a beautiful blue topaz necklace from Daddy for Valentine's Day! He gave her matching earrings too but they came with a no-rush stipulation!

Eleanor's Haircut

Ahh, the best part of the salon experience.
She was too cute...visibly enjoyed having her hair cut by smiling at herself in the mirror the entire time!

I'm embarassed to say this is only her 2nd salon experience as I've been trimming her bangs at home. She is trying to grow her bangs out (much to my chagrin!) and it was time to clean up the split-ends. We had a fun girls only time, going to Starbucks & Hallmark following the hair appointment.

Snowmageddon

The bamboo is not faring too well...hoping it recovers so we have our natural barrier to the houses uphill from us. We have yet to shovel out this pathway to the back door as the bamboo is buried and makes shoveling too cumbersome.

Oscar helping Kristian shovel out parking spaces in the cul de sac. Our driveway is to the left. Everyone on our street pitched in to pay a private plow (SO worth the $$ as the city did a one-lane job and plowed all our driveways in!) otherwise we would not be seeing asphalt!

Miss Jasmine

She loves snow! It is so fun to watch her dig, even with one front leg! Look at her cute little ears all flopped over! What a good helper!

Great Wolf Lodge

We escaped the snow and went to Great Wolf Lodge in Williamsburg. What a great time with wonderful friends! We had planned our trip prior to the snow prediction but it wound up being perfect timing. We booked another night and stayed put. No need to rush back home when you can be relaxing on the lazy river or luging down a water slide with your family!
