I made a cake with a microphone on it out of a cupcake, black licorice, & strawberry whoppers! It was purple, of course! Playing with the new barbie pool she received.
I made pink cupcakes to share with friends at daycare. Miss Trisha made Eleanor a crown to wear on her special day. Awww, Oscar giving the birthday girl a hug!
Special Delivery! 5 Pink roses from Daddy!!! Miss Stephanie said Ellie practically had tears in her eyes & even took the note to sleep with her at rest time, holding it up close by her chin.
Grandma Judi came back from Seattle (with a healthy report!) and brought popcorn jellybeans! Eleanor loves popcorn!
Handmade name bracelet Grandma bought at Pike Place Market.
We had hamburgers, fries & milkshakes at the Knudsen Cove Galley & then went home for cake and ice cream!
The sun was out and so were we at Settler's Cove. Oscar is all set to catch some bullheads in a tidepool! Eleanor "fishing" with her cousin Anna and her friend.

Oscar's turn. He wasn't fast enough to catch any but had fun trying!
He loved me pulling him around on the rope swing. I'd put my hands over his to hold him in place and swing him way out high, Wheeee!

I was so proud of Eleanor walking the entire parade (almost 3 miles from where we lined up to the finish!) and she did a great job helping Angie. She took her position very seriously, asking parade-watchers "Do you have a dog?" before handing out biscuits.
Start of the parade! Let's roll little doggies!
Grandma Judi drove the truck & Angie's mom Charlene was her co-pilot.
We had a picnic at Angie's house after the parade. Oscar had fun sliding down her rock pile!
Miss Stephanie was able to convince Eleanor to have her face painted at the July 4th booths on the dock. It was a cute strawberry to match the ones on her dress!
We went to Salmon Falls Resort to celebrate Grandma Judi & Poppa Ronnie's 42nd Anniversary. He was, as he is every year, out fishing for the king salmon opening. The kids behaved very well & enjoyed their Shirley Temple & Roy Roger drinks! We had cake at home to finish off the night.
He will go in the grass or off the deck...I have since bought him a Spiderman pole, this is Eleanor's pink Princess one. They got to the point where they just couldn't share b/c they both wanted to be casting at the same time!
